Greetings from Charmedland. It's been a busy summer!!!
By The Charmed Girls
We spent most of it doing what we LOVE-connecting with our customers during our demos. We have met some truly fun and inspirational people (you know who you are). Some of our new retailers include Rhino Coffee in Louisiana, VIDA Fitness in DC, Quartermaine Coffee in Bethesda, and Schoolhouse Earth in Deep Creek (a magical place that you must experience if you ever find yourself in western Maryland). Two of our goals this summer were to have our bars on the shelves in every Whole Foods Market and MOM's Organic Market in the MD, DC and Northern Virginia area. We accomplished that goal and then some! The Whole Foods in Richmond took us 4 hours to get to (ugh traffic...), but it turned out to be our busiest demo to date! (BTW, you can find our entire demo calendar by clicking on the "EVENTS" tab at the top of our website.) Father's Day weekend was an exciting one for the Charmed Girls. We flew out west and were filmed for the show "Food Factory" which will air during the fall season on the Food Network. The show features the production of our bars and includes interviews with both of us. It was an unforgettable experience that included a lot of laughs (too bad there isn't a blooper reel). We will give you a shout out once we know the exact air date. And on July 16th, we were on FOX 5 DC live with Sarah Simmons... We did a live cooking segment where we created special bars for the FOX 5 viewing audience. You can find the recipe for our "Fox 5 Peanut Butter DC-licious CharmedBars" and other gluten-free dishes on our website by clicking on the "Gluten Free Recipes" link at the bottom of the page. That's all for now. We are so grateful for each and every one of you-for your words, stories, support and love.
